If you're using CF for the CDN and proxy features, it makes sense to combine the DDNS features in with that to eliminate a service and a hop. I use Letsencrypt + Cloudflare but I don't use their DDNS feature since I'm lucky enough to have had the same public IP for the last year, so if it's only going to change, if it even changes, that rarely, I'll deal with updating my A records manually.
